Anthurium (Jungle Giant × Phoenix) × (Magnificum × Crystallinum)

A compelling velvet hybrid pairing Jungle Giant × Phoenix, created by Barry Schwartz in 2023, with Magnificum × Crystallinum. The parent plants bring together dark velvet foliage, bold contrasting venation, substantial leaf structure and the potential for beautifully colored emergents.

The seedlings are already showing promising traits from the pairing, including velvety foliage, strong venation and nicely balanced, elongated heart-shaped leaves. As with any complex Anthurium hybrid, individual siblings will continue to develop their own combination of characteristics as they mature.

Grower’s Choice: You will receive one healthy seedling selected from the current batch. Individual plants naturally vary in leaf shape, coloration, venation and growth habit. Parent photo is provided as a genetic reference and does not represent the exact plant received.

Care
Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate to high humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged; do not allow Anthuriums to dry out completely between waterings.

Shipping
Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
