Anthurium Mikey Boy × (FTG × NSE Red Crystal) × (Jungle Giant × Phoenix)

A complex velvet Anthurium hybrid bringing together Mikey Boy, Fairchild Tropical Garden Crystallinum (FTG), NSE Red Crystal, and Jungle Giant × Phoenix genetics. The Jungle Giant × Phoenix component was created by Barry Schwartz in 2023.

This exact plant is a substantial, well-established seedling already showing an attractive progression in form. Its newest leaves are developing dark velvety surfaces, elongated heart-shaped foliage and clean contrasting primary venation, with the newest leaf showing a particularly elegant, tapered shape. With this combination of genetics, there is still plenty of development ahead as the plant begins producing more mature foliage.

Care: Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate to high humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged; do not allow Anthuriums to dry out completely between waterings.

Shipping: Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
