Hoya elliptica

A distinctive collector species prized for its beautifully patterned foliage and intricate contrasting venation. Hoya elliptica develops oval to elliptical deep green leaves traced with a prominent network of lighter veins, creating an almost turtle-shell pattern across the leaf surface.

This exact plant is already a substantial, actively growing specimen with multiple mature leaves and long vining growth ready to continue onto a trellis. Mature Hoya elliptica can also produce clusters of attractive, star-shaped flowers.

Care
Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Allow the potting mix to dry fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Hoyas should never remain waterlogged.

This is a vining species and benefits from a trellis or other support as it matures. Established plants can produce beautiful, fragrant clusters of flowers. Do not remove spent flower peduncles, as Hoyas frequently rebloom from the same peduncle.

Shipping
Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
