Hoya australis ‘Lisa’ – Low Color
A lower-color example of the popular variegated Hoya australis ‘Lisa’. Rather than the heavy cream and pink variegation often associated with this cultivar, this exact plant is showing predominantly green foliage with more subtle variegation, making it a good choice for someone who likes the growth habit of ‘Lisa’ with a greener look.
New growth on ‘Lisa’ can emerge in pink, red and bronze tones before hardening, while the amount of variegation and coloration can vary significantly from leaf to leaf and with growing conditions.
Stock number GS-379. You will receive the exact plant pictured. The plant is intentionally listed as low color, and buyers should use the photos as the best representation of its current variegation.
Care: Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Allow the potting mix to dry fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Hoyas should never remain waterlogged.
Hoyas are vining plants and benefit from a trellis or other support as they mature. Established plants can produce beautiful, often fragrant clusters of flowers. Do not remove spent flower peduncles, as Hoyas frequently rebloom from the same peduncle.
Shipping: Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
