Hoya kentiana Variegated
A colorful variegated Hoya with long, narrow foliage edged in deep green around creamy yellow to chartreuse centers. Under brighter light, new growth can develop attractive pink, coral and reddish tones, giving the plant noticeably different coloration across leaves of varying ages.
Plant #592 is a well-established, multi-leaf plant with strong variegation and particularly nice color on its newer growth. Its compact upright growth now should develop into the characteristic trailing/vining habit as it matures.
This is an exact plant listing. You will receive plant #592, the individual Hoya shown in the photos.
Care: Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Allow the potting mix to dry fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Hoyas should never remain waterlogged. Brighter indirect light can help maintain strong variegation and encourage the pink/red sun-stressed coloration.
Hoyas are vining plants and generally benefit from a trellis or other support as they mature. Established plants can produce beautiful, often fragrant clusters of flowers. Do not remove spent flower peduncles, as Hoyas frequently rebloom from the same peduncle.
Shipping: Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
