Hoya ‘Lalita 12’ WRX33-12 (ilagiorum × callistophylla)

A rare collector hybrid combining two spectacular Hoya species: the long, elegant foliage of Hoya ilagiorum with the bold venation and substantial leaves of Hoya callistophylla. ‘Lalita 12’ develops elongated, rigid foliage with increasingly prominent venation as the plant matures.

The cross is also notable for its flowers, which can develop vibrant orange to bronzy-red coloration, reflecting the influence of H. ilagiorum. This exact plant is already well established and actively vining, with a long runner ready to be trained onto support.

Care
Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Allow the potting mix to dry fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Hoyas should never remain waterlogged.

This is a vigorous vining hybrid and benefits from a trellis or other support as it matures. Established plants can produce beautiful, fragrant clusters of flowers. Do not remove spent flower peduncles, as Hoyas frequently rebloom from the same peduncle.

Shipping
Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
