Hoya Mathilde Splash

A classic collector Hoya with small, rounded leaves generously flecked with silver splash. Mathilde is a hybrid of Hoya carnosa and Hoya serpens, combining an appealing compact leaf shape with vigorous vining growth. The splash form adds substantial silver patterning that varies naturally from leaf to leaf.

These are Grower’s Choice plants from our current batch. Each plant will vary somewhat in splash, leaf size and growth, but we’ll select a healthy representative plant for your order.

Care
Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Allow the potting mix to dry fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Hoyas should never remain waterlogged.

Hoyas are vining plants and many benefit from a trellis or other support as they mature. Established plants can produce beautiful, often fragrant clusters of flowers. Do not remove spent flower peduncles, as Hoyas frequently rebloom from the same peduncle.

Shipping
Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather
