Hoya polilloensis

A less commonly offered Philippine species Hoya originally collected on Polillo Island, where it was found growing epiphytically on trees in tropical forest. Its foliage is particularly attractive, with elongated, pointed green leaves and prominent longitudinal venation that gives the leaves a textured, architectural appearance.

This exact plant is a well-established young specimen with multiple substantial leaves and active vining growth.

Care: Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Allow the potting mix to dry fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Hoyas should never remain waterlogged.

Hoyas are vining plants and benefit from a trellis or other support as they mature. Established plants can produce beautiful clusters of flowers. Do not remove spent flower peduncles, as Hoyas frequently rebloom from the same peduncle.

Shipping: Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
