Hoya tsangii (Outer Variegated)

A charming, fast-growing Hoya with narrow foliage edged in creamy yellow variegation, giving the plant a bright, delicate appearance. Unlike many climbing Hoyas, Hoya tsangii develops a more trailing growth habit, making it especially well suited to a hanging basket as the vines lengthen.

Mature plants can produce rounded umbels of small pale green flowers that mature toward golden tones, with matching golden coronas. The blooms produce nectar and have a mild, fresh fragrance.

Care
Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Allow the potting mix to dry fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Hoyas should never remain waterlogged.

This variety is best allowed to trail rather than trellised as a climber. Established plants can produce clusters of flowers; do not remove spent flower peduncles, as Hoyas frequently rebloom from the same peduncle.

Shipping
Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
