Hoya kentiana Variegated
A colorful variegated Hoya prized for its long, narrow foliage with creamy yellow-to-white margins surrounding deep green centers. New growth and leaf margins can develop pink, red and burgundy tones under brighter light, giving established vines a beautiful mix of color.
Hoya kentiana has a naturally trailing and vining growth habit, making it especially attractive as the vines lengthen from a hanging pot or are trained onto support. Mature plants can also produce clusters of characteristic Hoya flowers.
Grower’s Choice: You will receive one healthy plant selected from the current batch. Individual plants naturally vary in leaf size, variegation, coloration and growth habit. Photos show representative plants from the available group.
Care
Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Allow the potting mix to dry fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Hoyas should never remain waterlogged.
Allow to trail or provide a trellis or other support as the vines mature. Established plants can produce beautiful, often fragrant clusters of flowers. Do not remove spent flower peduncles, as Hoyas frequently rebloom from the same peduncle.
Shipping
Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Some minor leaf loss or cosmetic wear can occur during shipping and acclimation, particularly with variegated Hoyas. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
