Anthurium sp. Napo × Blue Velvet

An exciting pairing that combines the distinctive form of sp. Napo with the dark velvet foliage and bold contrasting venation of Blue Velvet. The seed parent brings an elongated, dramatic silhouette with an open sinus, while Blue Velvet contributes deep coloration, prominent silver venation and classic velvet texture.

These seedlings are still young, but are already beginning to show variation in leaf shape, coloration and venation. An interesting cross to grow out for collectors who enjoy watching two very different parent forms come together.

Care
Bright indirect light • warm temperatures • moderate to high humidity. Grown in Pro-Mix HP, a well-draining peat and perlite potting mix. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged; do not allow Anthuriums to dry out completely between waterings.

Shipping
Plants are carefully packed and may ship potted or bare root depending on plant size and shipping conditions. Heat packs are added when appropriate during cold weather.
